1.What is the shelf life of the Aroma’s Days’ products?
Before Opening: All the products are to be made freshly after order received, it could be kept for 12 months only, which the product is store away from direct sunlight, avoid high temperature and humidity.
After Opening: As our products contain natural ingredients, which without chemical preservatives such as parabens, the shelf-life is shorter comparatively, strongly recommended to use it as soon as possible after opening.
2.Are natural beauty products as effective as traditional cosmetics?
From the old times till today, the essence of the flowers and plants are widely applied in the skincare and body care products, and the results are significant. Aroma’s Day cares the skin of the customers and infuses the natural botanical ingredients in the products, for providing a reliable and effective result. Understand your skin type and use the suitable products, the healthy and radiant skin can be seen.
3.Are natural skin care products do not cause sensitive?
Just like someone allergy to nuts or beans, someone allergy to chocolate, the allergens of different persons are unique and not alike. Even though only a few or even none of the chemical ingredients can be found in the natural skincare products, which are very mild, the skin of each customer are distinct, and the conditions may change from time to time, so we strongly suggest customers do fully understand the products before purchase.
4.Can I expect an adverse reaction when I change to natural products?
It depends on what you have been using. If you have been using a skincare line that contains synthetic chemicals, parabens and PEGs, the skin can harbour the toxins that are accumulated through the chemical exposure. Conventional products are full of emulsifiers and silicones - the common use of silicones is to make the skin feel hydrated, but at the cost of slowing down the skin’s own production of moisture such as hyaluronic acid.
Once you have found a suitable natural skincare line, there comes a period of transition, where the skin might go through a skin-detox. This may lead to a few breakouts during the first month because natural ingredients encourage the purging of toxins that have been accumulating in the skin from the former synthetic skincare. With a little patience you will soon see good results – remember that the epidermis, the skin’s top layer, takes 28-30 days to renew itself. But your patience will be rewarded with radiant, healthy skin.
5.Are the products tested on animals?
No, and Never, because at Aroma’s Day, we believe that animals should never be sacrificed or used for testing beauty products.
6.How do you make sure the products are hypoallergenic?
Hypoallergenic cosmetics are products that manufacturers claim produce fewer allergic reactions. Consumers with hypersensitive skin, and even those with "" normal "" skin, may be led to believe that these products will be gentler than non-hypoallergenic cosmetics. We at Aroma’s Day believe – as many dermatologists do – that the term "" hypoallergenic "" has very little meaning and is often used in promoting cosmetic products to consumers in order to create a solution for a non-existing problem. If your skin is sensitive and tends to react then you have to find a line with ingredients that suit your skin type.
7.Is natural skincare more expensive?
The production, as well as the ingredients of a natural product, are more costly and that is reflected in the price. If you compare prices you will notice that while natural skincare lines may be more costly, all is relative to its ingredients and the superior quality of the product. Conventional cosmetics on the other hand may cost less, but they may also cost far more without any justification for the high price. Pricing is arbitrary, and the production of the designer bottle often costs more than the product that it contains.
It is worthwhile paying for the quality and safety of natural products.
The product formula is sophisticated skin science, unlike conventional cosmetics.
The ingredients are of proven optimum quality, and are at least 1.5 to twice as expensive as unnatural options.
The manufacturing process is more costly. Many natural lines are purposely made in small batches to ensure freshness, and this affects the cost of the product.
8.Why do natural products sometimes vary in colour, scent or texture?
This is, in truth, a very good sign. Natural ingredients are not standardised and uniformly mass-produced the way synthetic ones are. Our natural oils and other ingredients are harvested from different farms at different times of the year and this may affect the colour, scent and even the feel of a product. Like fine vintage wines, each fragrance blend is as unique as the year’s plant harvests.
Natural products smell natural and have milder scents because they contain the essential oils which are used in aromatherapy. Rather than being overpowering or even irritating, the smell of natural products is relaxing and healing. Conventional cosmetics, unlike organic products, are manufactured with chemicals and are artificially scented in order to mask the otherwise unpleasant smell of the ingredients. Such strong smells can be very irritating especially for those who suffer from asthma, sinusitis, migraines and breathing problems.
